When was the last time you were out for dinner and dancing at a function other than a wedding?
For 43 years the Rotary Club of Burlington and more recently the Rotary Club of Burlington North have put on a Lobster Fest (Fiesta) on the last Saturday in May. This year is no exception and now things have been switched up to make the event even better with the addition of ribs and chicken to the menu. This is truly a festival, in addition to your meal there is a full service cash bar, blackjack room, live auction, prizes for the best decorated table and yes best decorated guests as well (hilarious to see some of these creations). Plus live entertainment will be provided by the James Anthony Band with guest singer Donnie Meeker.
For a laid back entertaining evening with good food and tons of fun call your friends and mark your calendars for May 31, 2014, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Burlington Central Arena located at 519 Drury Lane. Come and join the fun at the now called Rib/Lobster Fest. Tickets are $75.00 per person.
This important Rotary event helps to fund the many projects initiated and or supported by the Rotary Club of Burlington and Rotary Club of Burlington North. Some of the projects we have supported include Camp Enterprise to help encourage students to become entrepreneurs, the Pythons Pitt, the Christmas Family project, contribution to the new hospital funding, plus many small projects where we help out families and service providers who do not have access to any other funding. Rotary does great work in our community. So come join us, have a great outing and help support your community at the same time. Hope to see you there!
